The Geek Link Episode 53: I Likes Me Some Zim

Episode 53 has a little bit of everything in it. Cannonfodder talks about the upcoming Emerald City Comic Con and it’s extensive and impressive guest list. He also informs us that Battle Block Theatre is entering closed beta and that the game is great. Smikey brings us word that every new game from the publisher will come packed with micro-transactions. Something the gang has strong feelings about. Xalaga updates us on the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix game that is now coming to western markets. She then goes on to discuss the last Silent Hill movie and it’s relation, or lack there of, to the game’s universe. The Geek Link Kickstarter of the Week is Machine of Death, a table top game that looks as fun as it is absurd.

About the Author

Founder & CEO of GeekLinkRadio.com. I like to be a hero in a world of 1's and 0's. A computer programmer by day and a gaming journalist by night, I spend most of my time dedicated to everything videogame. From teaching a college level class in videogame history to being part of "Portland's Ignite" speaking about girls in gaming, there is little time where I don't do some sort of videogame related activity. Now I spend my down time dedicated to The Geek Link where I'm a writer, a Web Master, and I am one of the creators and co-hosts of The Geek Link Podcast.
